In the Philippines, what began as a single-venue event with a mere 40 attendees in 1994 has grown by leaps and bounds into a multi-stage, multi-genre, and multi-day celebration. Fête PH has become a platform for both established and up-and-coming Filipino artists to share their music with a growing audience.

Traditionally, the celebration is open to everyone, from amateur musicians to professional bands, in streets, parks, and public spaces all over France. Musicians are invited to perform live music for free to showcase their talents, connect with their community, and inspire others to discover the joy of music.

On this occasion, TV5MONDE is also gearing up for the Cannes Film Festival with a special programming line-up in May. With an array of award-winning and critically acclaimed films, you'll get an insider's look at the best movies from previous editions of the Cannes Film Festival!

It celebrated not only the artists and music from various parts of the Philippines but also the natural beauty and rich culture of some of the country’s most popular destinations including Siargao, Cebu,  El Nido, Baguio, Pampanga, Albay, Caloocan, Laguna, Tagaytay, Zambales  and Metro Manila.

“In spite of all our differences, music - just like the oceans - connects us humans with each other,” says Xavier Leroux, Executive Director of Alliançe Française de Manille.
