This year’s Fête celebration in the Philippines kicked off with a wonderful showcase of talents from the three main island groups of the Philippines – Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao – from June 18 to 20. Then, on June 21, Filipinos joined the rest of the world in celebration music with four main stages in Boracay, El Nido, La Union, and Metro Manila.

“We hope you enjoyed the music performed by our talented Filipino musicians from all corners of the country,” said Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat. “This is our way of allowing everyone to “travel” our beautiful country through the sounds of its many regions.”

The nationwide musical tour began on June 18 with a Luzon pocket stage that featured performances by Pedicab, Radha, Parallel Uno, Celeste Legaspi among others. While on June 19, audiences were given an eargasmic treat by Visayas artists such as Kate Torralba, Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas and Vanessa Monot and on June 20, the spotlight was on Mindanao with music from homegrown talents including KRNA, Moro Beats, Conscious & The Goodness.
