Every year on March 20th, International Francophonie day is observed in different countries to celebrate the French language and Francophone culture. Created in 1988, the date is celebrated in commemoration of the Niamey Convention, which French-speaking states signed in 1970 to align their interests. And today, over 300 million Francophones celebrate the diversity and love for the French culture on this day!
