Dalat is in a beautiful mountainous region in Lam Dong province, southwest of Nah Trang city, and the road to Dalat is an attraction in itself!
The view is magnificent and the ideal way to go is by motorbike. If you choose this mode of transport, remember to pay attention to the bends and take regular breaks.
Linh Phuoc Pagoda
Once you arrive in the city’s entrance, you will see a Buddhist site on the right. This is the Linh Phuoc Pagoda. Remember to stop for a visit before entering the city.
Domaine de Marie
The Domaine de Marie is another religious site that I recommend visiting in Dalat. At that time Catholicism was imported to Vietnam by French colonisation, and the Domaine de Marie is a Catholic church built in 1940.
Dalat Night Market
One of my favourite activities in Dalat was tasting the local culinary specialities in the night markets. Banh Mi, Pho, there is always something for everyone! I love the friendly atmosphere of these markets and recommend you go there for some unforgettable culinary adventures!
Elephant Falls
We cannot visit Dalat without going to Elephant Falls! It is located outside the city, just under an hour's drive in a south-westerly direction. Once you arrive at the entrance to the site, you will have to take a superb hiking trail to finally see the beautiful falls. The moss formed on the rocks around Elephant Falls is truly magnificent.
Our virtual trip to Dalat in Vietnam is over now! I hope you enjoyed this city and will add it to your travel itinerary.
